Here is a pic of 1100814 stamp. The 14 and the 37 are slightly deeper and larger than the rest. It appears flat and not ground down. Did they ever stamp the 11008 and then add the last two digits since there are lots of 800 numbers? The "A" is also missing after the 37. I can't figure out why a restamper would forget the A. Has anyone seen one missing the "A"? FYI: the alternator was found in a rebuilders pile with the correct original fan and and 3.2" DG pulley on it . Unfortunatly I didn't see it before it was cleaned up. All opinions would be appreciated!
