Yes the muncie hole -- but there is absolutely no cowl induction power feed wire hole shown there.

In the photo showing the firewall there is a SS hood with original insulation showing... the studs through the bottom with the self cutting nuts are there.

Why is there a white non SS hood on the car in the subsequent photo?

Why is the z28 holes drilled 2x show photos.

Maybe I've put  the SS hood on it?
Perhaps they drilled holes for the Z/28 emblem and Discover the emblem set too high and drilled new holes?

Come on guys

I dont need to hear if it's a COPO or not.
I just wanted to Discuss Early ZL2

Did all COPOs have that hole?

The wiring goes in above the fuse box and plugs into the fuse box, you are talking about moving the bulkhead grommet to the other end of the harness if you move the power feed wire to the center of the firewall.
I just got off the phone with the owner of the first documented ZL2 car, Van Nuys 12C never restored with tons of paper, power feed is in the std location at the fuse box.
The early 01B - 01C Yenko's (these are the first 50 COPO 9560's X66 conversions) I know about have harness piercings in the std locations, if I am not mistaken the 1st 2 ZL1's were between the 12C car and the Yenko's and they are std location as is the early Berger ZL1.

Need a Link to the discussion you are referencing on Yenko.

I didn't know of any additional DOCUMENTED early cowl induction cars, doesn't mean they don't exist.

Here is an early norwood car NOT a ZL2 with a larger hole by the wiper motor.

The hole in the center are U17 wire and oil line hole.
Up to the left is ZL2 relay hole.

The only quote from that thread matching anything close to what you are claiming is the following....

-----There are documented examples of cowl hood delivered 69 Camaros with the cowl harness hole in the firewall not drilled in the correct place. The hole isnt far off, but its not where the dimple is. Do we chalk it up to "hole driller indifference??? I would think the hole was drilled manually and not punched, but I dont know.......Bill S

QUOTE "THE HOLE ISN'T FAR OFF, BUT NOT WHERE THE DIMPLE IS."

Which means it is still in the location down by the fuse box.

The hole beside your oil pressure gauge hole is not large enough for the power feed... here is the picture of your firewall.

I will state again...
There are NO documented cowl induction (ZL2) cars with a power feed hole anywhere close to the center of the firewall.

Not a Z28 not 9560 or 9561 and not the car in the discussion within this thread.
