That's 1.34 %... pretty rare. Probably the rarest of all 68 colors. Palomino Ivory might be close.

Paul, would you know how many Tuxedo Black (AA) produced in 68 ?

Thanks

Could there be more Fathom blue cars, but had a vinyl top or convertibles ?

That's the number for Fathom Blue, Tuxedo Black was the lowest production color in 68, then Fathom Blue followed by Palamino Ivory.

An EE code would indicate no vinyl top or convertible since the second code being the top, is Fathom Blue.
So is it possible there could've been more fathom blue cars with vinyl top or convertible (code E2 for example)not listed in your data ?

And can you put a number on the Tuxedo Black production please ?

Paint codes are listed by their general 2-letter codes, not the Trim tag codes that designate the upper body colors along with lower where applicable. If you look over the CRG listing for window sticker codes, they are listed only as double letter codes, Trim tag paint codes are not listed on the window sticker:
http://www.camaros.org/numbers.shtml#ExteriorColors:S:RPOCodes
The only time you may have different letter codes for colors are for two-tone colors which there were none of in 68.

Paul
Holding off on posting any other production numbers at this point.
