Good picture Gary. My UH tag is right over the date spot in my pics, so I can't see the date yet..

Wouldn't a radiator date code (J) be a little late for a 06A Built car?

Good question. But probably not too late for a bb 4spd w/air, and then by this date, COPO. Has a manual trans bb ever been documented with ac would probably be a better question?

Just my thoughts, but I will defer to those with experience.

So that would be "J" of 68?
So the metal tag is how you distinguish between 68 and 69 radiators?

Darrell, I am familiar with the CRG page, what I don't see addressed is how do you tell a late 68 radiator for a early 69 like Jimmy V, vs the same "F,G,H" date for a late 69 built Camaro. I didn't see a metal tag in his pic to help with identifying.

So my question is since there isn't a early production or late production distinction according to the chart, could you in fact use Jimmy V's dated radiator for a early 69 Z, and a late 69Z and it would be correct still?

This not the original radiator for the car. This radiator is original I purchased for car 15 years ago to replace the incorrect s/b radiator that was in the car when purchased it.

Currently I cant say with a 100% certainty but until the data reveals something different my gut says yes at this point..

This not the original radiator for the car. This radiator is original I purchased for car 15 years ago to replace the incorrect s/b radiator that was in the car when purchased it.

Thanks for clearing this up be unfortunately Ill have to have a question mark by your info as its not the original one for your car.

Interested to see as the data point number grows, what is the greatest gap between rad date and car's estimated build date.
