First thing I would do is google your VIN, if it has been discussed here or on other forums before or has been advertised for sale it should show up....Send in for the NCRS report (links below)
Post lots of info, pictures, etc. here for us to see, maybe someone knows the car.
Also, I might add, if you know the state it was sold new in(the NCRS report could show that) then you might be lucky enough that it was sold new in a state that still offers DMV title histories. Most don't but Kansas and North Carolina are two states that still do for example.
Good luck!

Congratulations! You at least took the effort to pursue your car's NCRS doc. You may want to take an ad out telling what you do know, like the color, model, dealer, in that Oregon area of the dealer and see if that pans out. Maybe someone will remember the car?

I would suggest starting with whom you purchased the car from, and find out all you can from who he purchased the car from and start working backwards. Any and all information will keep your momentum going, on tracking down history on your car.

I'm surprised you found that through NCRS because I was just talking about this on the forum about mine, and according to their main page at the bottom, your serial number falls into that lump they claim they don't have documents for.
So maybe there is hope for me still.

Frank, Milton -Freewater is a very small town in North Centrol, Oregon along the Columbia river, you might google the dealer and see if anything pops up.In the late 1980's I sold chambered exhaust systems to 2 guys in Milton-Freewater for their Camaro's. It's a long shot but I'll see if I still have their numbers. Also did NCRS give you the dealer number for Eddy Chevrolet?

Combined the two threads since they are the same.

A82 - not an RPO after Jan 69.
A85 - convertible RPO by then. Standard on a coupes. Deluxe belts are ZK3.  http://www.camaros.org/seatbelt.shtml
CE1 - part of RS
N66 - check the wheel codes. I doubt these are original.
U15 - speed warning. Not common.
(No dashes in the option codes, btw.)

If the N66 wheels are like Rallyes, the code will be adjacent to the valve stem hole (under the trim if you have trim rings)...
