« on: November 14, 2006, 01:16:41 AM »
Any of you that are running larger than stock tires please advise me as to size and what problems you have ... rub etc. This would be a great help! Thanks, Bruce

Take a look:
http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=1098.msg6646#msg6646
And here:
http://camaroz28.com/services/calcs/
That one click on Effective Tire Size...

Remember wheel wells for 67 and 68 weren't as condusive to larger tires as 69 and later.

But yes my 15X7s on front are not that large, but they still rub a little on a bump, etc.

I'm running 215/70/14's on the front with factory rallies.  They work just fine.

Alot depends on the backspacing and offset of the rim. Are you talking the drag race, day-2 look or some type of 17-18" pro touring look?
