67 RS/SS 350 Casting number (3892657 or 3903352)

I recently purchased a 67 RS/SS convertible without a drivetrain.  I've been looking for a 350 casting number 3892657.

The last few weeks I was starting to wonder if maybe I was looking for the wrong block as I haven't been able to find anything later then the third week in May.
 
My camaro is a Norwood (06C), June 3rd week.   A few of the guys here told me that my car might have had an engine assembled
a week or two prior to the 06C and that the engine could have been cast a week or two ahead of that which means the motor could have been cast the last week in May or first week in June.
 
I was recently told that in May or June Tonawanda switched or the 350 camaro blocks from 3892657 to 3903352.   Do you know when Tonawanda switched over?

According to your research does that mean I should be looking for a 3903352 instead of a 3892657 then?

The block you want is the 3892657 and built at the Flint plant. The 657 block was used on the 350 as well as the 327. The 3903352 was used from the middle of the 1967 year on 327 motors only. I highly doubt you will find one in an SS350 car.

The 2-3 week rule is not necessarily true. I have an 03D built car with a January built motor. My block is the 3892657. You could go back as far as April on your car. Look for any 657 block from April to mid June.
