Local Car Show This Past Sunday
« on: October 20, 2014, 04:50:41 PM »
Decided to stop working on everything and take a day and get the ole green machine out and hit a local car show.  I bet I had 30 or more people that came up that remembered the car and several other old faces I havent seen in several years.  Only a handful of people have actually seen the car in the past 25 years.  Great day and fun time for a show.  Thanks to z28z11 (Steve) for the pics due to me not having a functioning brain to use a camera.

Nice photos, and the 'green machine' looks great, Darrel !

You need to keep us informed BEFORE the show, so we might can come too!  :)
I went all the way to Sevierville, TN for the Muscle Car Expo this weekend...

Great pics, your car deserves the attention, it a nice car with great family history. I also noticed a 65 Mustang fastback in the background, damn those Mustang guys....j/k.
From the looks of it a lot of cool looking drivers. I am anti trailer queen, so that would have been just my kind of show.

Must be these new cars that are getting to me, but it looks like you could fit a suitcase between that right side fender and the engine!!  ;D And that's a big block!!

I think Im gonna do a LS swap with twin turbos to fill the gaps.  Once that is finished I plan on doing a suspension upgrade and shave the door handles, chop the top 2" and put recaro seats in and mini tub it for 20's
