Paint on steering components
« on: August 20, 2014, 12:41:24 AM »
Has anyone noted any paint/ inspection daubs on the steering components?
While cleaning my subframe I found some additional markings  ;D
in addition to the original spring tags

here are some pictures of what i found.  If the CRG thinks they are too detailed and might help over-restorers, please remove them

I saw this one that mentions the blue daub, but nothing about the yellow x by the A arm pocket

69 sub frames had a PN and date stamped in yellow on the outside of the left hand rail, under where the bumper bracket mounts....  Myself and others have posted pix of that.
