1111480 Distributor Stamp
« on: June 30, 2014, 06:47:39 PM »
A friend of mine needs a correct 480 distributor for his car and is looking at buying this one. I say a restamp. The area around the critical numbers look filed. I hate to see him get taken. What do you guys think?
Thanks!

Not the best picture, but I agree.  There appears to be another number beneath and inside the zero.   :P

Yep, that zero is very suspicious.

I had looked at that one before- I was thinking it possibly was a 1111481 that was changed?

Very hard to change a ONE into a ZERO.

In fact, I think it would be hard to change any number into a zero without having some kind of indentation from removing the old number.

easiest number to hide of any of them 1111481 is a common number too
look at the 1's theres no top or bottom to it a 0 covers most/all of it I actually blew that pic above WAY way up and something isnt right
