...we found the 69 Hugger Orange color matched almost spot on ....
Very interesting. Here in Au my brother and I used GM-H Sebring Orange, a color used on '69 Monaro's and Torana's.
It too is a very close match like the Hugger Orange.
Did he add a flattener to the Glasurit paint? Looks good!  :)
Thanks Rob!  No flattener, he used just base paint and actually added just a touch of clear to give it a little shine. I specifically didn't want it to be to shiny and I was very pleased with how it turned out.

I upped the resolution and cropped the image in photoshop along with using color to highlight the mask making it (the mask) much easier to pick out.

So the iron intake bb's did get some masking [pump neck, pad, bypass] and it looks as though the bypass mask was big enough to keep most of the paint off the hose?
I think you got a couple of runs there firstgen!   :)
