1968 Z28 block Numbers
« on: August 09, 2013, 06:13:23 PM »
This block was certified original by Jerry M. What I don't understand is, why are the numbers crooked. The 4 and the 5 are hanging down lower on the end. Were not all of these stamps done with a gang holder?? Why are they not lined up straight even across? ... Danny

Some of the 68's didn't use a gang for the VIN stamps. I have seen some that are worse than the one pictured.

Danny....here is my 1968 Z28 MO numbers for comparison.  Mine is very close to the one you posted about.  BTW....the last two numbers of my serial number should be "99" but the last 9 does not show very well.
