Would anyone know if a divorced choke kit is made or where to buy the parts individually for a 2 barrel dualjet for a '67 327.  Any info appreciated.

General Discussion / Request for a later '67 rochester 2bbl pic
« on: April 04, 2014, 03:03:05 AM »
Hoping someone can provide a picture of an original, stock fuel line entering a Rochester 2 barrel carb from a 67 Camaro. This would be for a June 67 build.   Bringing mine back to stock and picked up a fuel line from Heartbeat City, but looks like it would not fit into side of carb.  Thanks in advance.

General Discussion / Where to find a black oil fill tube
« on: February 03, 2014, 10:16:48 PM »
I need a black oil fill tube for a '67  327/210 hp, without the threaded hole for the pcv valve.  Issue I am facing is that I have an original AC Delco push-in breather cap, so I need the filler tube that allows a push in breather, not the screw on type.  Any info would be appreciated.  Thanks!

General Discussion / Crankcase Ventilation question
« on: January 25, 2014, 07:27:28 PM »
I'm trying to bring my 67 RS with an original 327/210 back to as close to stock as possible.  Found the correct dated 2 barrel manifold and original air cleaner, and have a line on a rebuilt Rochester dual jet, but can't seem to find out anywhere why some cars were set up with a positive system (vented oil fill cap/breather) and others a closed positive, with the pcv valve attached to the fill tube.  I looked at the Chassis Service manual (fig. 10), but it only shows examples of the set-ups.  Would appreciate any help.

My car has an early June '67 build and did not have a/c, nor the AIR system.

Thanks

Maintenance / Befuddled - Alternator not lining up with other pulleys
« on: January 28, 2011, 11:30:04 PM »
I have raised this issue once befor on the forum, but I can not get my alternator pulley to line up with the water pump & harmonic balancer pulleys on my 1967 small block 327. The latter two are fine, but the alternator pulley is about 1/2 to 3/4 inch behind the other two.  I purchased a new upper bracket and still no luck.  Could the alternator be incorrect for this year block? I have attached two pictures.  Any one out there see anything???

Originality / Water pump - wrong one?
« on: December 24, 2010, 10:25:31 PM »
I have a 67 with an original 327.  I had a squeal from my alternator belt and noticed that the water pump pulley and alternator pulley dont match up (off set).  Does this water pump look original to the car, or was it for a diiferent sb chevy.  At one point the offset was almost 2 inches.  I was able to bang the bracket forward and now the off set is about 3/4 of an inch, but still causes some squealing from time to time. Any ideas???

Maintenance / Horn on my 67 stopped working
« on: December 12, 2010, 07:03:30 PM »
I'm no electrician, so needed help in diagnosing why my horn stopped working.  The relay clicks when I hit the horn button on the steering wheel, so that's good.  I believe only one of the two horns were working previously and then the one horn started working intermitantly.  Would it be the relay, or maybe need two new horns?

Decoding/Numbers / intake manifold casting # Question
« on: April 12, 2010, 03:54:05 AM »
On a 1967 camaro with a 327 2 barrel, would the casting # on the manifold be 3877652 or 3910601.  I can't seem to find any of the 3910601's on e-bay or craigslist so it makes me think that Camaro's used the 3877652 and the data I'm reading on other web sites may not be right.  Anyone have an orginal engine they could look at and report back.  Thanks.

Originality / 67 RS rocker panel paint
« on: February 01, 2010, 01:08:31 AM »
Quick question regarding my 67 RS.  I am looking to paint the area below the rockers black, but wanted to see if anyone knows if that paint should be flat black or more of a satin.  Can't seem to find anything on it on this site. Thanks.

Decoding/Numbers / Help decoding my intake manifold
« on: January 18, 2010, 10:03:58 PM »
Based on the GM code of 3927184, (per many web & decoding sites) this should be for a '69 small block 350. However the casting is June 11, 1968 and it has the hole in the front of the manifold for the oil tube. Was this code used in 1968 as well? Thanks in advance.

General Discussion / Stereo for my 67 convertible
« on: November 07, 2009, 05:10:39 AM »
Need some help with my upcoming stereo purchase for my 67 convertible.  Does anyone have any reviews of those Custom Autosound brand stereos. I'm looking at the 200 watt version. Also, since I have a droptop, I'm looking at those flat speakers from ss396.com that fit under the seats. Anyone have any experience with any of this. Thanks.

Maintenance / loosening the power steering pump
« on: September 28, 2009, 12:28:01 AM »
This should be an easy one, but on my '67 small block with power steering (no a/c), I loosened the one bolt on the power steering pump (within the slide area) which I thought would allow me to push the pump toward the center of the engine (so that I could remove the belt), but it will only budge a small amount. Still too much tension to remove the belt. Any other bolts that need to be removed or loosened.  Thanks.

Restoration / Licenseplates.tv - anyone use these guys?
« on: May 30, 2009, 10:09:18 PM »
And how original do you think their plates look. I have one California plate for my '67 and thought I might get one made to match.  Not sure if they are good enough to pass by the DMV as the second plate.

Originality / ? California Plates - 1967 corresponding letters ?
« on: March 22, 2009, 06:09:00 PM »
Wondering if any California folks out there have a 1967 model year vehicle with original plates starting with a late Txx - xxx number. Most have U's and early V's.

Decoding/Numbers / Manifold decode - 4 barrel cast iron
« on: March 02, 2009, 01:14:44 AM »
Wanted to confirm a date of production for my manifold...

F118:

Does this equate to a production date of June 11, 1968?

casting number is: 3927184, with a GM-5 pattern if that helps at all.

Thanks in advance for any help.
