General Discussion / Re: Website not secure
« on: August 07, 2024, 05:17:15 PM »
I brought this up in March under Site Comments / Discussion and was pretty much told it was a user setting (which it is not). This could cause exposure to the users and causes a lot of grief for logging in on a PC for me.

Originality / Breather elbow hose
« on: April 12, 2024, 01:43:58 PM »
I need some help. Im working on getting some things back original on my 69 Z. I have original breather base and VC elbow. Have an original NOS 3932336 connecting hose. AIM shows the bend back. Most all restored cars have it forward. I can’t get it to fit either way. Which is right?

If your company, work or organization manages your browser you cannot change this setting. It will prevent you from logging in and strip all .jpeg photos out of the posts. The big thing is that for everyone, if the website is not secure third parties can see or log anything being typed in including usernames and passwords and PMs.

Site Comments/Discussion / CRG website “not secure”
« on: March 11, 2024, 01:17:24 PM »
Has anyone else recently gotten this flag when opening CRG website? My work computer started flagging it about 2 months ago and our firewall will not let me login. Phone shows same not secure ( which means the security certificate has expired), however I can login on my phone. Not sure if it’s me or the website’s security certificate is actually expired.

I live in the middle of this area now. Attend most all of the local shows. There are a few cars that match that description. Ill see what I can dig up if its still around now that I have the VIN.

Fenton also made a Super Shark which had a slightly different center. Either way I think they are some version of a Fenton wheel.

staying with that theme, I don't think this ended well  :( snowy roads played into it I think.

What are the wheels on the rear of the Camaro ?

I think those are Fenton Hawks. Possibly a later Keystone Knockoff. Hard to tell for sure, picture get grainy when you zoom in.

I have a 05A car that did not come with tach or gauges from the factory. NCRS date is 5/13/69.

Why not just remove the tire and sand blast it.  That'll get it done.

Sandblast will remove the original finish being primer and Argent silver. Author ask how to remove black spray paint recoat and keep the original GM finish.

Easy Off oven cleaner works great for taking off rattle can top coats and leaving original GM paint on. Pic is after removing 2 heavy coats of rattle can.

This car back on the market for sale for $105K. I looked this one over myself at Mecum and have some other pics. VIN: 124379N570274.

https://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/d/cumming-1969-z28-rs-camaro-black-white/7629889975.html

It had a lot of red flags in person. I just hate to see anything questionable on the market not disclosed. Hurts everyone..

love the flex hose on a $120K car! Nice touch but new owner should not have to worry about that very long with the starter wire touching the header. Car will be burnt to the ground shortly....
