i purchased my 12D 67 rs/ss from the original owner in 1984. he stated that the car went back to the dealership to have the radius rod installed. it is the square bar. the warranty guys at ther dealer didnt use the inside floor brkt, they just used bolts with biug washers. probably making two dollars an hour back then.

So how was the front of the bar mounted if not floor bracket was installed? Bolted through the frame?
The square bracket also used a smaller bracket with a rubber snubber attached to it. Was that installed too?
Can you provide a picture?
