I had a great thing happen to me and had to share my story.

Just after the New Year I received an email from a guy who said he had my original dealer invoice for my early non X code 69 Z/28. I thought how great that would be but have to say I was a bit skeptical and waited a while to respond to say I was interested. I received a second email with some of the options I have on my car but the color he stated in the email was incorrect. I shot Kurt and email asking him for his thoughts on the email and he responded that is was very real and he had seen the invoice and gave Warren my contact information. This erased and doubts I may have had and I quickly contacted Warren and we made the deal and a few days later I now have the document in hand. I had a few pieces of documentation for the car but nothing like this it has the factory options listed along with dealer costs and suggested retails along with the shipping date from the manufacturer to the dealership.

I am so grateful for guys like Warren who is a guy trying to do the right thing for the hobby and guys like Kurt and CRG for having this site and the knowledge to unite the documents to the car.

If I can do anything for the people involved in this please let me know.

Thank you again Warren, Kurt and CRG!

So what was the deal with the incorrectly stated color?    How did that shake out??

It was the guy who had the invoice he mis-stated and said it was butternut yellow and my car is Daytona yellow.

That is why I asked for Kurt's assistance no big deal.
