Dealer Promotional Plastic Models?

Ok, I remember when I was a kid back in the 60's Chevy dealers often had 1:24 scale plastic models of the new years models.  I was never fortunate to have one of these until this weekend.  I was browsing around an antique store with my wife when I came across a plastic box with about 10 cars.  What caught my eye was a Z11 model complete with door decals.  I also found a gold 67 RS/SS.  I also recall a 62 Impala coupe.

The older lady who owned and operated the store told me that these were in the back of her husbands closest, who it turns out, owned the dealership.

Does anyone have any idea what these are worth? They are in great shape but do not have the boxes.

Thanks,

I remember those - My uncle was a lifetime parts manager for a few Chevrolet dealers in the Hartford area. As a kid I remember he had a 69 Chevelle, and maybe a 65 Impala sitting on the shelf in his office at Grody Chevrolet.  Post a few pics and I'm sure someone collecting these will chime in with a value.

These models came in plain white boxes with make and model stamped on the end with ink stamp, no graphics. Prices vary now from $50 upwards. I've seen a few Corvette ones go around $400. Given the ones you have are popular models of cars I would guess $200-$300 would be fairly accurate.

Hey, that's a great piece. I've seen some cars like the Impala on Ebay but never a Camaro or Chevelle. I saw a mid-60's Corvette go for around $400 but that was a few years back. Ebay prices seem a lot lower now. Whenever they come up at live auctions here they usually go for $100+

Yep, those are the same type models.  I've looked on ebay since I posted this and someone just listed a 69 Z11 like the one I picked up.  Starting bid drum roll..............................$400.  Wow.  You guys are going to cry when I tell you I paid $7.50 or $15.00 for both of them.  The store had several others that were not of interest to me.  I remember a 62 Impala SS.  I think I'm going to make a 250 mile trip one way Friday and pick up everything she has.
Here's a link to the one that was just listed.  Looks exactly like the one I picked up.  Hard to believe the price, they really are a cheap model.http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Chevy-Camaro-Pace-Car-Promo-graded-9-out-10-JP153-/170743590425?_trksid=p4340.m185&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC.NPJS%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUA%26otn%3D5%26pmod%3D330636585584%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D4736411110527466096#ht_2338wt_1187

Sorry to burst your bubble but if you know anything about ebay you never get the same HIGH price twice but you may? Unfortunately that's what many people value collections at these days, based on inflated ebay prices  I do wish you good luck though but don't be disappointed if you don't find that pot o ebay gold.

You might do better at an upscale, antique consignment store with those.
