That's my guess as well, but I figured if you had the full VIN you could confirm.

I also see another sub frame, and a rear axle behind it. What's the code on the axle?

The seller doesn't say anything in the listing about the rear axle.

The early model Corvair looks like it's a convertible, so there may be some parts on it the EM (Early Model) guys might be interested in.

Wouldn't the Dual Piston Brakes have only been on SS or Z/28?   Also in pics. shows front bracket for a console, just sayin' this seems to have been a nice optioned car.

Yea and Milt's old 68 Tri power Dana Survivor that Kevin S currently owns is the same color... and if I am not mistaken a 67 Z painted that color has just been restored in Maryland...

More importantly
Would you be willing to do any more work to ID if this is a solid lifter LA Special Paint Car?

Just for fun what is the drivers front wheel and tire..
Maybe the firewall has visible chalk marks if wiped with windex?  or lightly scuffed?
Check the Wiper well for signs of white stripes or Black stripes.
Maybe a spring tag or shock tag exists?

The car appears to have been rolled.

The top of the firewall between the elephant ears is painted black over the orange body color paint.  Typical of a car equipped with a set of Z28 stripes from the LA plant.
