door lock pulls

hello,  quick quesetion. i have two 69s and i noticed that the door lock pulls are in different locations. one car has them about 2 inches in from the end of the door and the other has the pulls about a foot in from the end. anyone know why? thanks

You have 68 and 69 door panels. The 68 panel had the lock approx 2" from the end and in 69 they moved it more forward for easier access.
