Thanks for the reply Paul. But unless I'm missing something this link doesn't really answer my question. Other that saying some wheels do not have app code it doesn't say that some do not have date codes. I haven't looked on the inside of the wheel but mine do not have a date code on the outside of the wheel. It does have the DG right next to stem on all 5 of the wheels though.

Sorry Brad, 1967 rally wheels are not dated by the valve stem.  There is a stamped date on the inside of the wheel, but you will need to remove the tire to see it.

Was hoping that was the case. I will pull one and check it out soon. Do they use the same format on the DG's? Or is it the different one as they  mentioned?

Brad, the above photo is for reference only.  It is from a 1967 Corvette "DC" 15" x 6" rally wheel.  It is dated 2 67 for February 1967.

Gotcha! I'll pull one. Thanks for filling me in. When I pull it I'll post back what I find. Thanks Paul.

There was a DG wheel discussion on this forum back in September:

I've never seen a 67 model year DG wheel with a year stamp of 66, so I'm wondering if they just started that year & month stamp in January 1967?

Just pulled one of mine and cleaned about 49 years dirt off and no stamping at all on backside.

Pete might be on to something, Brad.  Was your Camaro built in '66?

Kelsey-Hayes has been stamping the wheel size and month and year date code on the inside of the rim since 1951; Chevrolet wheels didn't get the type code and dating stamped on the outside of the rim adjacent to the valve stem until 1968.

Well these have the DG at the stem and there is nothing on inboard.
All 5 have the DG on the same spot but I didn't look at the inboard side on the other 4 yet.
Are you saying that they are not orig?

I don't know, but every Kelsey-Hayes wheel I've ever seen has the size, month and year date, K-H logo, and Tire & Rim Association certification logo stamped on the inside, under the tire.
