Aftermarket "270" and "298" coils any good?

Many of the Camaro parts stores sell "270" and "298" coils with orginal caps but the cans and internals are new.  I've been looking for an original coil but I cannot find any for sale.

Are the "270" and "298" coils that the camaro parts stores are selling considered original?  Or are they considered fakes and as desireable as a restamped parts?

Thanks Team Camaro!

I just bought one of the USA reproductions from Goat Hill Classics. I called and talked to him about his product. He seems to be on the level about his quality. He uses original Delco tops and buys blank cans and stamps them. He puts new internals in. The originals are very hard to find. It looks to be one of the better repro parts. JohnZ seems to know Goat Hill.

What I know about Goat Hill is that if you deal with him, do it on a cash-and-carry basis only, so you have the part in your hand when you walk out the door or get it at a show. Lots of horror stories in the Corvette restoration community about mail or phone-ordered parts that were never shipped, cards charged, etc. He was banned from advertising in the NCRS "Driveline" publication for those reasons.

Hello

I bought a 270BR "rebuilt coil" from Camaro Classics.  It was not cheap... maybe $160   I had a problem with it (leaky oil and misfire) and brought it back.  Return was no problem and the replacement works fantastic so far.  This was not a restamped can but the original can and top with new internals, so would be really hard if not impossible to not call it original in my opinion
