could someone help me out to post my pic? I'm not sure how to go about it, thanks

First, check how large your picture is.  That's the biggest problem most seem to have --pic larger than 128KB. 
You cannot use Quick Reply... Use the Reply button: under that click Additional Options; under that use Attach and browse your computer for your pic.
If the picture is too large and you cannot reduce it, try a third-party hosting like Photobucket.com.

It is aggravating the first time you try, but you'll get it!
