The pad has been restamped. I'll guess that the engine was rebuilt and the block decked. The numbers were added back because they were needed for the registration.
I wonder if this is the original block for this car (#2056) or if this was from #1575.
Nice to still have the original dealer sticker. That paint looks really nice, too bad the front sheetmetal is missing.
