Rally Sport hideaway hinge color

I have a 69 SS / RS with a Endura bumper. What color were the hinges painted, that hold the RS headlight covers out of Norwood. Black, Grey, and or Natural metal in color? I am talking about the bracket that the headlight door or cover is mounted too. When it open it pivots 90 degrees.

Jerry McNeish and he told me they are to be semi gloss black in color. That is how they left Norwood.

Yes, that is correct.  I know we discussed the finer details on how to paint RS door components with Lloyd for his Z, but I cannot find that now of course.

They were dip painted similar to many other parts found on car. JohnZ always stated it was a semi-gloss primer.
