Marking on rear seat support

Took my rear seat out of my 69 and on the support that separates the back of the seat and trunk area is a marking in chalk that says X3. My car is a pre x code per the cowl tag. So maybe that means its a x33 car? Just guessing. Anyone else seen this?

It sure looks like. Exterior color is 67 Burgundy with white stripes

The color is the adhesive glue sprayed to hold the package tray cover over the edge.  Congrats on the Z.  Post up some more photos of the car.  We all enjoy seeing new rides..

Kurt I am reading into it that it says RS style code cars can only be x33 with z28 RPO
What am I not understanding? Not wanting to upset anyone.  Just trying to understand all these meanings.   Thanks

X33 was the style trim Z.  X77 was no style trim.  Because of that and the fact that style trim was mandatory on the RS option you can get an open headlight X77 base style trim Z or a X33 open headlight with style trim or you could add the Z22 (RS) with the Z option and you have would have also been coded X33.

It seems there are other X33 cars with X3 noted on the rear bulkhead. Seems logical to believe they may all be X33 cars. If yours meets the X33 criteria, and if I were you, I'd consider it an X33 car.

I see the glue splatter up high on the bulkhead, I was thinking I was seeing a Lighter color on top of the ruddy primer, it might be reflection from the camera.

Body color is often dusted on the sheetmetal eps LOS build cars
