I am going to redo the spatter paint in the trunk of my '69
I found this new product which claims to reproduce the exact orig color.
Its the Black / Aqua color on the right in my photo and I added a shot of a trunk done with it.It's darker that what is currently the color of my trunk.
Does this look like the correct factory color ?
Thanks again for the expert advice.

I don't know if they changed colors during 67,68 and 69. But based on what is in my (67) trunk area, the new color you have appears to be to dark. Lets see what JohnZ and Jerry say.

All I have to compare it to is my 68 and I don't know if there are variation between the years.  The photo that you have of it applied to the trunk looks too dark to me.  Also on the 2 side by side pictures in the first attachment what is the difference between the 2 colors, are they different products?

The color on the right is thr "Gray/White" spatter paint that I understand was used until 1966, then GM changed to the "Black/Aqua"

Here are a couple of photos of the original spatter paint in my '69; your sample panel looks a little too dark.

There are only two people selling correct truck spatter paint for first gen cars now.  Brian Henderson at Supercar Workshop and Larry Christensen from Camaros plus.  We stock Larry's but I'm not sure if Brian is marketing his or just making it for his customer's cars.

I am also working with Dave Cunningham from BASF.  I gave him three original trunk pieces to match in his chem lab.  All of the other stuff available today is not correct and wont' fly in concours restored judging.

I believe I read that Brian Henderson's product has a very short shelf llife, he mixes and he uses it.  It is not practical to sell it.  Any pictures around of what the Larry C. product looks like?  Is special equipment needed to spray it?

Jerry@CHP

Looks like the factory original trunk paint.  You need a pressure gun to spray it.  Comes in a quart can.

John Z.  Does you car with the houdstooth trunk mat have a rectangular sound deadening tar type material mat glued on the trunk floor where the trunk floor starts to slope up to go over the rear axle?  If it does, was the mat applied before or after the spatter paint?  I have a 68 deluxe interior car that has the sound deadening mat but at one point in its life the trunk was resprayed and so was the mat.  I am restoring the trunk but don't know if the mat gets covered with the spatter paint.  Thanks for the help.
