Hello all,

I can't seem to find a definitive answer about this online, perhaps because I don't know the correct terminology to search with.  On the back of our '67 Camaro (RS, 327, powerglide, Power steering, power brakes, AC) there is a vacuum port with 3 connectors:  Transmission, Power brakes, and another line that is plugged.  I'm curious what the 3rd (middle) connection is for.  The only clues I have found online is that perhaps someone put a '68/'69 port on the intake and the middle port was for the vacuum headlights (which '67 of course doesn't have).  My suspicion was that maybe it went to a vacuum canister for the AC system, but I'm not sure if '67 camaros were supposed to have them; our car does not.

Thank you,
Brandon

If you have a 67 AIM look at UPC J50 Sheet A3.  J50 p/brakes, C60 AC, M35 auto.  67s with AC had the vacuum cannister in the upper rear of the driver fender (UPC C60 Sheet E2 in the 67 AIM)

Thanks for the replies.  I don't have the AIM.  It seems our car is missing the vacuum canister.  Thanks for the information.  Perhaps I can find more info now by looking up vacuum canister and maybe find some pictures also.
