He states he is second owner.  Has POP, which looks good and matches stamp on engine.   Partial VIN is stamped on block.   VIN is124379N662120.  Does that match a June production?  Thanks for help...Bob

Yes, the body number would have been produced in late June...

Sorry but I am gonna have to disagree with the repo tag.  I feel its legit although been off the car.

BULLITT65

I thought the tag looked good, but rivets look questionable.

Not the best angle, but tag is OK IMO.
Engine pad is OK. Axle is too late for the car - must be a story about that....

Thanks everyone for the help. I checked out the car over the weekend.   Im no expert, but everything looks legit and the owner has lots of documentation. Its an older, but still a really nice paint job, the engine has just been rebuilt.  Looks and runs great.  Currently negotiating a price.  Bob

That's good Austin... leave it as it is for the orientation of that seal says a lot about the owner of the car!  ;)

Well it isn't quite the same as the "caution fan" sticker, or painted stripes over the deck lid lip (with spoiler).

Those are more obvious. The genius of this is it targets the guys that are really in the weeds with knowing this stuff.  ;D

In actuality there are not many guys who are going to see my gasket. The original owner used some type of Gorilla glue when he put it on, and I have just left it. Gary , I suspect the same amount of guys view my car, as see your Z/28 that is locked away.  ;)
