1969 rear leaf spring cup front eye bolt & nut part#3892754 & 9417614

Surprisingly few posts on this question. I reached out to "JM" and he stated the bolt, washers and nut should all be manganese phosphate.

Mine would be a good one to look at but I had to use the nut, bolt, & forward spring hanger for the body cart to bolt to. It's at the body shop at the moment. That hdw was absolutely perfect on that car. I have to go there in the morning as they're painting the front clip. I will see if I can see the hdw when I'm there...Joe

On all the original cars that I have seen the nut is silver and all other pieces are black/grey phosphate . Can supply photos to back this up.This is the way I have done it on all the restorations in the past. The nut is alittle thicker and square cut compared to a standard hardware store nut.

For those who've contributed to this thread, thank you! From photos and other input I've received I've concluded the following:

Eye bolt, flat washer and lock washer - manganese phosphate (dark)
Nut - silver/clear zinc or natural
