I have a 1968 Camaro with a 10 Bolt Rear End. I am having it rebuilt with an Eaton Posi and 3.55 gears installed. Were Camaro rear ends originally painted semi-gloss black?

Yes; brake drums were attached and also painted. Parking brake cables had slight overspray. Pinion yoke was masked.
