I'm from just outside of Toronto Canada and this car originated not far from here. if the GM Canada document is correct.. the Vin would either validate a true z28 or not. I'm thinking a lot of work went into a car that was fake.. still is not worth a whole lot.

Considering how a born with block can add a third to the price of a car, it easy to see why a block would be restamped.

I'm from outside of Toronto Canada and if the GM heritage document according to the Vin number of the car is accurate, it is in fact a z28. Purchased not far from where I live. Or the Vin number has been removed from the real car. Either way it's a topic that I think is relavent given the amount of z28's being sold out there.

The problem with CDN docs is cars that are virtually junk are being located, pieced back together. Nothing original remains.

CDN docs used to be an asset. Now they can be a red flag.

Original tag, restamped block.
In 2002, car was supposed to be a one-owner car that was restored.  Hasn't changed much in 15 years.
