Confusing number on DF Rally wheel K17

I have two small DF coded rally wheels. They both have K1 above a 7 then 12 and 1 on either side of the valve stem. There is not a mention of this style stamp in Jerry's book. Are they December 1967 wheels for a 1968 Z/28 ?
