Pace car door decal 1969

Hi guys..

I posted this question on another forum but no results..

The original decal for the pace car... I was told by an appraiser that he "believed" that the original door decal was the 'wet and slide type' vs the peel and stick 3M type.  I was stuck because I had assumed that the 3M die cut was a correct reproduction..

anyone???

I'm not 100% but I believe these were wet and slide style like most GM add on stickers

the peel and stick repops are visually correct.
