67 Wiper Motor to Firewall Gasket Color

What color is the 67 wiper motor to firewall gasket supposed to be? I thought it was supposed to be black but I have ordered from Rick's and Heartbeat City and both are gray.
Heartbeat City shows the gasket to black but I guess they can not distinguish gray from black.
So, what is the correct color?

Hi Bob,

  I have always seen black glaskets. I still have an original motor as a spare and the gasket is stuck to it and is definitely black.
