           Back in the day the understaffed tech inspectors primarily focused on safety items and paid little attention to body and suspension mods....... In fact at the 69 race at St. Jovite one of the local inspectors made up a set of templates for the major makes but the SCCA decided not to use the probably because they knew that none of the factory cars would pass.
