I finally got to drive my 69 Camaro yesterday after a three year total restoration. What a thrill, it drives just like a new car should, "in 1969". The old design suspension and bias ply tires make me appreciate newer radial tire technology. I mostly want to thank all you guys on CRG for providing information, tips, and overall restoration help over the last four years. The information provided on this site is tremendously helpfull to anyone attempting to restore a Camaro to factory like condition.
I have about 30 days before heading to nationals, but checklist is getting shorter.
If you see anything incorrect in the photos I appreciate your feedback. Thanks again guys. George

Good looking restoration! Love the color combination.

Could we get a ground level, straight on side view?

Very nicely done.  I do see one thing though.  There is a speck of dust on the white top just above the a pillar..

Seriously though the car looks great.  Get out there and enjoy driving that thing.  Thats what they were made for!!!

Thanks for the complements guys, Ko-lec-tor asked me about the top shroud screw and I thought I would post my reply and get feed back from others. The shroud is original to the car and has no marking from a larger washer as you would typically see on a 69. In looking at the AIM there was a change in the screw on 10-10-68, if I read it correctly. That screw required a separate loose washer also. I assume my car didn't get the washer installed. I have seen this screw only on a few early cars. It could be they found out that the separate screw & washer was not working in assembly and went back to screw with captured washer. This is probably a point that would be questioned by a judge so I am curious what others have seen. George

I concur the lines created by the 69 style vinyl roof looks great especially in the LB white combo.

BTW the 41k mile 12C X66 BB has the first style screw with the large captured washer.
The indented head has a S at 12 o'clock and 3 radial lines one at 3 one at 6 and one at 9 as if to split the top of the head into pie pieces.
