liquid used in the hydraulic power top system?

Hi guys
I was wondering what kind of liquid is into the power top hydraulic system?
Some said brake fluid and some dexron ???
Any informations?

Originally they used Type A, but that's been long discontinued, so Dexron (which has now advanced to Dexron IV) should be used.

 I use Dexron 3 with success in my cylinders.

I add some dexron in the system but it dosnt mix with the original fluid...so i may remove the entire original fluid and replace it with dexron
