Question for the group regarding the codes on my steel wheels:
I have a  '67RS (L30/M20) with a build of 11A  - codes show on the outer ring as 26 11 6 (26th day of Nov. 1966)  Letters next to the valve are FC.

Referencing CRG under the chassis>wheels>:
"Most wheels are dated as shown below in the table and the picture. 67 and 68 FC coded wheels are stamped with an alternate date format: ddmmy (day, month, year), stamped on the rim lip but not next to the valve stem"

Question I have is the reference table states FC wheels as being an SS item for '67.  I am certain this is a early production L30/M20 non SS. I have no reason to believe these are not orig. and belong with the car (rest of the car is matching #'s) The  26 11 6 stamp date is little off (a couple weeks) from a 11A build - but very close

Do these codes make sense? Would the factory have put FC / SS wheels on a non SS? Special exception for a L30/M20? Dealer mod?
Thanks

14" x 6" wheels were optional [P12 $5.30] and included with tire options PQ2 and PW6.

That's not a nit-pick, it's an error that needed corrected.
Thanks Bryon for taking care of fixing it. :)
