Sure is and I have it listed. I have tried every avenue to find the owner. All forums worth anything, Hemmings, Pigeon Forge, Run to the Sun, Turkey Run, Moutrie..... Every REAL 68 Z had other serial numbers.  The true owner gets it free!

Hopefully with the 200 starting bid people will leave it alone and the owner may see it....as stated in the auction.  I even spelled out the color of car, gear ratio etc. it is of no good to anyone without that serial number!

By the way, you missed it the first time it was on eBay (see second post). Had a dozen people tell me they had the car but not one photo of the vin plate or trim tag did they have.

If you or anyone else can find the owner, a proven owner that is, the pop is free.  Kurt and I have discussed this almost two years ago and for two years it has been riding in my glove box to every car show I have attended.  It traveled with me to SF to Steve's Camaro's and asked around there and to the classic car dealers in the bay area.  I have tried and tried.

Since you did post my eBay username and home town.  How is this for full disclosure.

Well I hope Steve was pleasant while you were in San Bruno.

Very nice pic of your car. I am a fan of red though.... ;D

Of course he was, one the nicest I've encountered actually. Took me on a tour of his private garage and his Camaro collection.  Bought some parts he discounted...had to get them by Delta, that was a task!

Thanks for the complement. I actually just sold that car a few weeks ago and on the hunt for a 69.  Proving to be harder that I expected.

Hmm you sold your Camaro but still bought parts from him, makes me think you may own more than 1 Camaro at that house....

The visit was in June, I sold the car in October.  Looking for a 69. Nothing in the garages but BMW's.   Still holding out hope the owner of this 68 Z28 will search his/her serial number on Google and see this post.  I'd love tfor Fed Ex to deliver an awesome Christmas present.
