windsheild moulding clips

  Are there different moulding clips used for the windsheild and rear moulding if you have a vinyl roof? The front upper moulding on my 67 camaro keeps popping loose and I don't know if I just have to replace the clips that are installed or if there is a differnet clip used on cars that have vinyl roofs.
