Glove box lock

I went to open my glove box on my Z10 the other day,& the outer lock assembly just spins. How do I open the box? I took the 3 screws off on the hinge ,thinking that might help me.I hate to pry it open.Any ideas??

Well I answered my own ? I kept spinning the lock until the key went in.Now how do I tighting the locking assembly??
