Courtesy lights

My 68-RS interior courtesy lights only illuminate when the passenger door is opened.  By the looks of the wiring diagrams, it does look like the passenger door bulb is at the end of the run - electrically.

Can anyone respond with how their courtesy lights behave - e.g. do they illuminate when the drivers door opens without the passenger door being opened.

Dome light opens with either door being opened by itself - my ride is a '69 RS.

Suspect that maybe the door jamb switch on the driver side is not operating properly.
