correct paint color for 69 camaro horns

I had some horns reworked fron "The Horn Works" and they came back semi gloss.  According to Jerry's book, they should be gloss black.  The guy at Horn Works was positive on semi.  Your thoughts?

Mine were done by Horn Works and they passed in Legends at Nationals.

There are very few things that are truly gloss black.
I'd say semi is correct from what I've seen and have.
