Hey guys.

In the process of restoration, and thought maybe someone here could tell me what the difference is between a standard and deluxe interior window regulator ?.
My car is coded to have the deluxe interior, but someone has installed the standard door opening mechanizims, and I am not sure if the regulators have been changed. Am I right in thinking that the deluxe regulators would have longer shafts for the window crank to attach too ?. If so, how do I tell what I have currently?.
Thanks

If you have deluxe regulator on standard door panels the handle will be about 1/4-3/8 inch from the std panel....Joe

The dlx regulator stems have 4 grooves. The std ones have 2 grooves.

Thanks guys. I also talked with someone at Rick's and he said that the only difference was the length of the shaft. I asked him to measure one of his reproduced regulators and he said the shaft length was 1  1/4 inches long measured from the bearing housing.
Does this sound right ?

I'm looking at them, Dlx., 1-3/16"
                             Std., 15/16"

Here's a pic of an original. Notice the 4 grooves on the stem (shaft). Those indicate the length.
