69 Camaro Rear End Code

I've been trying to locate the stamped coding on my rear end axel tube with no luck. I have seen diagrams of where it is suppose to be but still having a hard time. The rear end is still in the car and my eyes aren't as good as they use to be. Could the stamping be on top of the tube?

no. it faces the front of the car. if it is painted, you may have to sand or scrape off the paint.
