Brake light bracket ???

Is this bracket original, It's hitting my column.
I dissembled the car years ago and don't remember if it is mounted correctly.

Nope.  The bracket is mounted in the upper hole so that the flat part hits the brake switch.  The reason was that power brakes located the brake pedal lower than manual, so they needed a little filler to make up the distance.
