trunk latch plating

what type plating  was original from the factory for the trunk latch.  i know the top part in the deck lid is body color how about the bottom?    thanks in advance again

This ? is close but on a 68 what  finish on he metal cover over the fuel filler neck .

Black and aqua spackle paint for 67-68. Gray white for 69.

Would be the same as the trunk spatter paint.

Larry Christensen had the correct trunk paint made up years ago.  He stocks it, I stock it and Camaros Plus stock it.

Maybe this question is out there but,,,,
Can you re-plate a used orig latch?
I have never had "Moving" parts renewed by my plater.

Has anyone ever tried this ?
