Could someone please post a picture or diagram, or direct me to one, that shows the correct carb return spring setup for the 67 SS 350.  Thanks.

There's a diagram of this in the '67 AIM.

I have a copy but didn't see this in there.  I'll try again.

I don't have a '67 AIM, but my '68 AIM says the L48 carburetor assembles the same as the L30.  Try looking under UPC L30, Sheet A4 in your '67 AIM (that's where the information you need, but for the '68 model year only, is in the '68 AIM).

Thanks Paul.  I saw the diagram but it doesn't add up based on the spring that I have that's supposed to be the right one.  I'd still like to see a picture of a stock setup.

Thanks.  That helps a lot.  That looks like the spring I have.  The assembly manual showed it connecting by the coil which would not work with that spring.

This is the only picture I could find that shows the setup that's in the assembly manual.  I have no way of knowing if this is how this particular car was set up originally.

You can get a similar aftermarket return spring bracket at Summit or on eBay.
As far as I can find the 2 barrels got the coil bracket setup from the factory. The four barrels got the tower with a hook.
Look on page 338 UPC M35 of the AIM. It is the only view I could find.
Don't know if the tower is for the automatic trans kick-down rod to clear or if there was a difference with m/t like in the picture..

I saw the setup from the picture in the AIM but not the one you're talking about.  I'll check that out when I get home.

The orange wire tower in the picture is incorrect. Hear is a picture of the correct tower (repro from HeartBeatCity) for the SB Camaro.
