I went to look at some used replacement door glass for my 69,
and the guy had 2 windows that looked identical except for the
bottom(lower) edge: one had a straight edge and the other had
a curved(arched) edge.

Which would be correct for a 69 coupe???
Thanks.

Get the date codes off the glass to see if its an early late thing, or if the glass is repro or from a 68.  I have three sets of 69 convertible glass and all of them have an arch on the bottom.  My original glass was made in March of 69.

My 69 has original door glass that has both a verticle and horizontal curve. I bought repo's and they only have the verticle curve. When installed the repo's have a gap between the fuzzy and the glass. I have tried to find repo's with both curves with no luck. I am wondering now if 68 glass is straight acrost the bottom because of the chrome piece on the 68. Maybe the repo's were paterened from the 68 although they advertizethem for 68 and 69. Maybe somone with a 68 could check, with the window up all the way will a straight edge lay flat against the bottom of the window by the chrome strip?
Thks.:
