Does anybody have a brand name and part number for the belt used on a 1969 Z/28 without smog. It runes the crank pulley, water pump pulley, and the alternator. I am being told by my supplier that he doesn't have one and doesn't know where to get one.
I believe I bought one for one of my other Z's many years ago at a local Napa but I don't remember anymore.

The only part number in the GM catalog for 1969 302 is 9433746. I can order one for 16.00 + freight

350 a/t with 42 amp gen would be part# 9433741. Still available from GM. I  can still order that as well. Pm me.

You should be able to cross the GM number to most other belt suppliers. A functional belt may be available over the counter at your local parts supplier.

Thanks guys, that's what I'll do.
I'll probably go to a Napa and buy a few and see which one fits.
It just seems extremely odd to me that this part does not seem to be known to camaro suppliers.

Rick's First Gens does list the shorter belt as an alternate for a Z without smog... or they did a few years ago.

It is a SB automatic w/o AC belt.

The Camaro suppliers probably don't list it, as it was never catalogued as a GM usage - there was no such thing as a Z/28 without an A.I.R. pump.

I actually changed from one length belt to a longer one on my Z w/o AIR. Alternator was almost to end of adjustment slot on the one I had, so I went To NAPA and asked for one 2 or 3 inches longer than the one I had with me. They were able to look the belts up by length. And now the alternator is closer to the center of the adjustment range.

What I was saying is the correct belt length is the same for a SB, automatic w/o AC. That gives you a 302 w/o smog pump length.

I confirmed today by looking at one of my other Z's that it is a GM Restoration Belt B-442.

Thanks for all of your help.

Yep, B-442 in Rick's: Alternator belt, SB w/o A/c, with A/T (also fits Z28 if no smog installed)

Quanta belt, but obviously would have the wrong # for a Z.
